Our school library, The Stallion Stall, provides many opportunities for our scholars. Check out our library impact report below to learn more!
Our biggest library asset is our librarian, Joann Martinho. Mrs. Martinho has been serving our Mulcahy Stallions since 2002. She opens the library to scholars before school and during all breaks, many times having scholars running to her door! She maintains a schedule so that scholars check-out books every two weeks and are always reading. Our school library was recently remodeled in 2017 with new furniture, paint, and wall decor making it very state of the art. Mrs. Martinho oversees many Stallion Stall activities such as our AR Million Word Club, Makers Space, and various book marker challenges throughout the year. She has scholars design book markers, has scholars vote on their favorite one, prints it, and then distributes the winning book marker to scholars. She oversees many other additional projects and games throughout the year!
