Holiday Art Project With Roosevelt Buddies! Mrs. Fluegel´s scholars work alongside Mrs. Jenkins' kindergarten scholars from Roosevelt in order to create a beautiful holiday art project. Not only are these two groups of scholars creating the amazing art together but they are learning to help each other while using oral language and socializing.
Shopping to Help Our Own! As part of their project-based learning, scholars in Mrs. Delgado´s class went shopping at Palace Food Depot this past Friday, November 16, 2018. With the help of all Mulcahy scholars, they were able to ¨give back to the community¨ by ensuring that 10 families had the necessary food items to have a delicious Thanksgiving meal.
Leader of the pack!! Scholars can participate in the activity that Mr. Jenkins is demonstrating. Scholars may have the opportunity to throw rings while aiming at his antlers for a chance to win a prize. This activity is for our current school fundraiser.
Daisy Burrola 2018 HACER Recipient! Daisy is an outstanding scholar in and out of class. She is very polite and has great manners. She always greets other scholars and her educators as she walks into class! She is involved in the development of the school yearbook, helps individuals learn Martial Arts, and even teaches non-English speakers how to speak and learn the English language.
